From humble beginnings in Hamden, CT. Neil Abel, then a young graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, started his very own kosher catering business. Like his father and grandfather before him, Neil saw the opportunity to continue his family heritage and build a successful business based on the principles he had learned growing up around it.

Fast-forward thirty years and we are still here providing all of New England with fine kosher food coupled with excellent service. Our two kosher companies, Abel Caterers and Elegant Events are unrivaled in their commitment to providing the absolute best at reasonable prices.

Neil is still in his office everyday making sure that everyone who works for him strive to be their overall best and live up to the highest personal standards and the standards of kashruth as well.

Stanley Moniz a thirty-year veteran of the hospitality industry is also here insuring that your event is nothing less than spectacular. His attention to detail and unwavering standards of excellence has helped us to gain recognition and prominence in an ever-changing marketplace.
